Punjab information minister regrets swearing after TV interview

ISLAMABAD - Punjab Minister of Information Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan on Thursday expressed regret for using abusive language after an interview on Saama TV.

However, in an Urdu tweet, he maintained that running an off-air clip is against journalistic standards and morals. He also claimed that he answered all the negative questions with tolerance. “But the recording of the clip after the program was run after the interview.”

The provincial minister expressed regret for his behavior off the camera.

The video clip of the provincial minister taking off his mike and then swearing has gone viral. He also threw the mike in anger as he used abusive language.

Reacting to his tweet, a number PTI supporters asked him to control his behavior, reminding the minister that he was no more in the opposition.
